Staying Alive to See the Sunrise!
Staying Alive to See the Sunrise is the first distributing
program to distribute naloxone to inmates who are
exiting incarceration in the state of Georgia.
To educate inmates about to reenter the community about high risk overdose.
To offer inmates the option of obtaining a naloxone kit in their property when they are discharged.
To decrease overdose mortality among people leaving prison and reentering the community.
To train inmates' family members and equip with naloxone upon release.
To inform inmates' about refills.
